I found this on John Cusick’s blog, and for obvious reasons, simply had to repost. =)
The big question lately has been, what Do I Want To Be When I Grow Up? And the answer is…
Everything!
I love physics, research, investigation, reading, painting, writing, theatre, film editing, sound editing, foley artistry, and beautiful flowers. What I really want to do is write children’s books. But what I need to do is pay the bills.
Maybe I’ll slip out of my super hero leggings, grab a backpack, and head back to school. A degree never hurts, right?
There is so much I want to do, too! I hope that eternity holds enough hours in the day to pursue it all!
Me too! And I hope travel is free then. Guided tours of the Holy Land by Joshua, Red Sea Crossing tours by Moses, tours of… where ever he lived, by Nephi. And world tours by Cook! =D
I don't mind working hard, I just don't know how to neglect my children in order to do make work at a job. If it was real work, possibly I could tolerate it, but make work. I want time to be able to explore what I want to be when I grow up and time to make mistakes and not be stuck!
What I really want to do is not be here wasting time at work for NO REASON when I miss my kids so much and I literally have NOTHING to do!! how stupid. When I grow up I don't want a stupid job!
What I really want to do is edit books. I think I'm good at it and it's very vaulable. Maybe you could hook me up with some aspiring authors?
Danielle- perhaps I could! =D
